Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to site owners.
In addition to cookies, our site may use similar technologies:
• Web beacons (pixel tags): Small invisible images (typically 1×1 pixel) embedded in web pages or emails that allow verification of whether a page was visited or an email was opened. They work in conjunction with cookies to measure user activity.
• Local storage (localStorage): Allows data to be stored in the user's browser persistently, without an automatic expiration date.
This policy applies to all these technologies, collectively referred to as «cookies» for simplicity.
Why we use cookies
We use cookies for the following general purposes:
• Ensure technical functioning of the site (navigation, language preferences, consent storage).
• Analyze traffic and usage of the site in an aggregated and anonymous manner, to understand how visitors use our site and continuously improve the user experience.
• Respect your consent preferences, ensuring that cookies are not activated without your prior authorization.
We do not currently use cookies for advertising or remarketing purposes. Should we implement such features in the future, we will request your explicit consent beforehand.
Types of cookies we use
Cookies can be classified according to several criteria:
By management (who sets the cookie):
• First-party cookies: Set by our domain — directly controlled by us.
• Third-party cookies: Set by third-party domains (e.g., Google) — controlled by the respective service providers.
By duration:
• Session cookies: Automatically deleted when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a set period or until manually deleted.
By purpose:
1. Strictly Necessary / Essential Cookies (no consent required)
These cookies are indispensable for the basic functioning of the site. Without them, the site cannot function properly. They do not collect data for marketing or analytics purposes.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_consent | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 12 months | First-party, persistent |
lang_pref | Saves your language preference | 12 months | First-party, persistent |
2. Analytics / Performance Cookies (require consent)
Allow us to measure and analyze site usage anonymously and in aggregate. Only activated with your explicit consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Main Google Analytics 4 cookie — distinguishes unique users | 14 months | Third-party (Google), persistent |
_ga_* | GA4 session and property identification | 14 months | Third-party (Google), persistent |
Provider: Google LLC (USA) / Google Ireland Ltd (Ireland).
3. Functionality Cookies (require consent)
Allow advanced features and personalization beyond essentials. We currently do not use additional functionality cookies, but reserve the right to implement them in the future, requesting the respective consent.
4. Advertising / Marketing Cookies (not active)
We do not currently use advertising, remarketing, or behavioral targeting cookies. Should we implement services such as Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Google Ads, we will request your explicit and separate consent beforehand, and update this policy.
Third-party services
The following third-party services may set cookies on your device when using our site (only with your consent for analytics cookies):
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Tag management container that controls the loading of third-party scripts on our site. GTM itself does not set cookies or collect personal data — it acts as an intermediary to load other services (such as Google Analytics) according to your consent preferences.
Provider: Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC (USA).
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Web analytics service that allows us to understand how visitors use our site. Collects anonymous statistical data about browsing, traffic sources, devices, and on-site behavior.
Provider: Google Ireland Ltd (EU headquarters) / Google LLC (USA).
International transfer: under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with European Commission Adequacy Decision.
Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Future services (not active):
Should we integrate additional services such as Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or others, we will update this policy and request your consent separately and in advance.
Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode v2
Our site implements Google Tag Manager (GTM) with Consent Mode v2, Google's cookie consent solution compliant with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC).
How it works:
• Default state (before your consent): All non-essential cookies are denied by default. No analytics or marketing cookies are loaded before you accept.
• Managed consent signals:
— analytics_storage: Controls Google Analytics cookies (denied by default)
— ad_storage: Controls advertising cookies (denied and not currently used)
— ad_user_data: Controls sending of user data for advertising purposes (denied)
— ad_personalization: Controls ad personalization (denied)
— functionality_storage: Functionality cookies (always allowed for essentials)
— security_storage: Security cookies (always allowed)
• When you accept analytics cookies: The analytics_storage consent state is updated to «granted» and GTM automatically loads Google Analytics, which begins collecting anonymized data.
• When you reject: GTM does not load any analytics scripts. No analytics cookies are set on your device.
This mechanism ensures full compliance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the ePrivacy Directive, ensuring that no data is collected without your prior informed decision.
Web beacons and pixel tags
Web beacons (also known as pixel tags, clear GIFs, or web bugs) are small transparent electronic images (typically 1×1 pixel) embedded in web pages or email messages.
How they work: When a page or email containing a web beacon is loaded, the user's browser makes a request to the server hosting the image, transmitting basic information such as IP address, date and time, and browser type.
Usage on our site: Currently, web beacons on our site are limited to those used by Google Analytics (via GTM) for traffic measurement, and only function when you have authorized analytics cookies. We do not use web beacons in emails.
Should we use web beacons in email communications in the future (e.g., to measure newsletter open rates), we will inform you and update this policy.
Your consent choices
You have full control over non-essential cookies used on our site.
In the cookie notice (banner):
• Accept all: Activates essential + analytics cookies.
• Reject all: Only essential cookies remain active (the site functions normally).
• Customize: Choose individually which cookie categories to enable or disable.
Change preferences at any time:
Click the «⚙ Cookie settings» link in the footer of any page to review and change your consent.
Browser control:
You can also manage or delete cookies directly in your browser settings:
• Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
• Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
• iOS (Safari mobile): Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
• Android (Chrome mobile): Chrome → Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
Note: Deleting essential cookies may affect site functionality (e.g., you will need to reselect your language on each visit and set your cookie preferences again).
Consequence of rejecting analytics cookies:
The site will work perfectly. The only difference is we cannot measure site usage to improve it.
Social media plugins
Our site may, in the future, integrate social media sharing buttons (e.g., Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Important: These plugins, when active, may set cookies on your device and transmit data to their respective providers (Meta Platforms, X Corp., LinkedIn Corporation) even if you do not click the buttons — simply by the page being loaded.
Should we implement such plugins:
• We will inform you in advance through this policy.
• We will use, wherever possible, «two-click» solutions, which only load the plugin when you actively interact with the button.
• We will provide links to the privacy and cookie policies of the respective providers.
Currently, we do not use social media plugins on our site.
Do Not Track (DNT) signal
The «Do Not Track» (DNT) signal is a feature available in some browsers that allows users to indicate to websites that they do not wish to be tracked.
Our site does not currently respond to the DNT signal, as there is no universally accepted technical or legal standard for its handling. Instead, we use our cookie consent mechanism (Consent Mode v2 via GTM) to respect your privacy preferences in an explicit and transparent manner.
Should a technical standard for DNT be adopted, we will reassess our position and update this policy accordingly.
Changes to the Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the cookies we use, third-party services, or applicable legislation.
In the event of significant changes (e.g., introduction of new cookie types or new third-party services), we will endeavor to notify you through a notice on our site or by requesting new consent.
The updated version will always be available on this page, with indication of the date of the last revision.
We recommend that you periodically consult this page.
